Shooting Style
I believe that moments should be captured as they happen—not staged, forced, or posed. I’ll try my hardest to photograph you naturally, comfortably, and unobtrusively so that you look like you, and at your very best. Sometimes, with wedding formals, portraits, and boudoir, you may require or request a little guidance, which I am happy to provide. I’ll work with you to help you and your loved ones look relaxed, confident, and happy.
I strive to photograph people as they are and minimize awkward, camera-shy moments. As a photographer trained in photojournalism, I consider my job to be invisible, and to assist only when needed. My goal is to tell your story, not create it. I shoot a combination of candid images and contemporary portraiture to give you pictures that capture detail and emotion, showcase your unique style, and make you feel fabulous. My photographs are clean, colorful, and contemporary.
Because I am telling your story, I’ll take the time to get to know you, and I’ll be glad to consider you a friend. We’ll take as much time as you need to prepare you for your shoot so that your pictures will show you in your very best light.
