My new letterpress business cards are on their way! Or, almost. I submitted my design to my friend’s Oregon letterpress studio, and she’s in the process of making the plates and getting the material.
I love letterpress… it’s so deliciously textured. These cards will be of the traditional width but square, with rounded, painted edges. The paper will be quite substantial, for thick, colorful edge painting. All of the text will be my signature orange, and my logo will be blind pressed, possibly with a tonal ink for greater visibility. I’m hoping for a deep, sexy imprint. I can’t wait to see them!
